The Relevance of Learning English at Early Ages
Main Focus:
Do you have children? Are you worried about their future? No matter what their plans for the future are, speaking more English is always an incredibly useful skill to have. In this webinar we will talk about the importance of learning English and the way our kids can do this in a fun natural way.
Speaker: Federico González
Federico González Hernández Studied English Language Teaching and holds certifications from CELE-UNAM and IPN as well as major certifications from Cambridge English. He has worked for almost 20 years in public and private schools teaching English at all levels, giving teacher training courses and preparing students and teachers for international English certifications. Currently collaborating with The Anglo, he has consulted for publishing houses and works with different institutions in developing and implementing English programs at all levels. He has also contributed in the development of Teacher Training Courses with various institutions and usually delivers sessions and academic presentations to teachers all around Mexico and Central America.

Este webinar te ayudará, explicando algunas razones claves del porque la comprensión auditiva en el «mundo real» puede ser más complicada y como mejorarla.

Originally from the United States, Emily Gorsline has lived and worked in ESL in Mexico for 14 years in a variety of contexts (primary, business, adults). With the support of The Anglo, she has continued her own education (ICELT and DELTA 1) and work in supervision, teacher training, and course design. She is currently teaching English via distance learning at The Anglo as well as co-raising her bilingual son.

Handling Anxiety
Main Focus:
En esta sesión tendremos la oportunidad de crear un “mindfulness jar” y poner en práctica 3 sencillas técnicas que ayuden a las familias a combatir la fatiga y ansiedad durante la cuarentena.
Speaker: Paloma Labastida
Paloma found her passion when she moved to Dallas, Texas, where she worked as a volunteer in a non-for-profit organization helping immigrant children master basic reading skills. She now follows that passion as a teacher at the Anglo. She has practiced meditation for almost ten years.
